Here is a list of the most frequently asked questions:
Who handles transportation and transfers?
If you want to travel by public transportation, all our hostels are easily accessible within the local train and bus systems. Our hostels in Bonn and Cologne-Riehl even sell tickets for public transportation. If you’d like to use a private coach for transfers between school, youth hostels, and all activities, we'll be happy to organise the transfers for you.
How do I receive our programme tickets?
You will receive a programme folder from us after you make your bookings and a few weeks before your arrival. It contains specific information about your trip, the hostel, all destinations and programme points, and all vouchers and tickets.
What’s included in the prices?
All prices listed are for groups of 20 or more. All youth hostel-related pricing includes accommodations, bedding, breakfast, and our services. Prices may vary for different group sizes - please ask our team for more information. Most activities and packages are offered by local partners, and their prices are subject to change at any time. All pricing for activities and packages does not include arrival and departure or transfers to and from destinations. Transfers are optional and can be booked by us separately. All activities include 2 free chaperone spots for groups of 20 or more students.
Are any onsite payments required?
No onsite payments are required. All payments for accommodations and activities can be made in advance by bank transfer.
Is a DJH Membership compulsory?
A DJH membership is required for any group stay at our hostels, and a valid membership card must be shown at check-in. Please check your records before your trip. In case you don’t have a valid group membership card, please send your membership application in time.
